Sinopsis

XIII: The Conspiracy

La primera Presidenta de los Estados Unidos, Sally Sheridan, es asesinada a tiros por un francotirador durante su discurso del Día de los Veteranos. Su asesino escapa por poco de la escena con vida, con la seguridad nacional pisándole los talones, o al menos eso parece. Tres meses después, una pareja de ancianos descubre el cuerpo de un hombre herido en un árbol, llevando un paracaídas. El joven (Dorff) no puede recordar ni siquiera un poco sobre su propia identidad. La única pista es un tatuaje en su cuello, "XIII". Mientras tanto, en la Casa Blanca, la inteligencia gubernamental sigue buscando al asesino de la Presidenta. Con las elecciones a solo semanas de distancia, un sospechoso confirmado podría cambiar el voto para la administración. Horas después de que la ubicación de XIII es detectada por inteligencia encubierta, fuerzas de operaciones especiales de élite rodean la casa de la pareja en Cape Fear. Corriendo con adrenalina e instinto, XIII elimina tácticamente a los soldados uno por uno. En la huida, aferrándose a una pista desesperada tras otra, XIII comienza a reconstruir su vida, fragmentos de su memoria regresando. Finalmente capturado, descubre que le han dado una identidad robada y lo han colocado de incógnito para desenmascarar a un grupo de conspiradores que amenazan con derrocar al gobierno. Enquistados dentro de los más altos círculos de poder, los conspiradores dirigen su propia agencia de seguridad junto al Gobierno. Ambos están tras él. La única forma para que XIII recupere su propia vida es jugar de cebo. Un juego peligroso, especialmente cuando no sabes quién eres realmente.
