Sinopsis
Park Jae Chul es un viejo marinero y padre de tres hijos y una hija, Dong Kyu (el mayor), Young Kyu, Sang Ok y Min Kyu (el más joven). Dong Kyu es un trabajador y asume la responsabilidad como el mayor de su familia. Está enamorado de Yoon Su Kyung (su compañero de trabajo). Trabajan juntos para superar todas las dificultades para casarse. El joven Kyu no sueña con nada más que dinero y casarse con una chica rica algún día. Mientras servía en el ejército, engañó a una ingenua campesina, Mi Sook, prometiéndole casarse con ella. Mi Sook queda cegado por el amor y cubre todas sus necesidades. Sang Ok es la única niña de la familia. Ella es una estudiante universitaria. Su Min Kyu más joven es un hijo tranquilo e introvertido. Se distancia de su familia y su gente porque le preocupa el hecho de que es de otra madre. Aunque es un pintor talentoso, no usa mucho su talento. Su hermano Young Kyu y la niña rica Shi Yeon siempre están a su lado y lo presionan para que sea mejor.
