Allan Carl Newman (né le 14 avril 1968) est un musicien et auteur-compositeur-interprète canadien. Il était membre des groupes de rock indépendant Superconductor et Zumpano dans les années 1990. Après la dissolution de ces groupes, il est réapparu en tant que leader des New Pornographers en 2000, un groupe qui a connu un succès commercial et critique. En 2004, Newman a lancé sa carrière solo sous le nom d'A.C. Newman. Il a déclaré qu'il avait choisi "A.C." pour sa carrière solo car "ça sonnait comme un pseudonyme, mais ce n'est pas un ps...
