Jón Þór "Jónsi" Birgisson (prononcé [ˈjouːn ˈθouːr ˈpɪrcɪsɔːn, ˈjounsɪ] (écouter) ; né le 23 avril 1975) est un musicien islandais ; il est le chanteur et multi-instrumentiste du groupe post-rock islandais Sigur Rós. Il est connu pour son utilisation d'un archet de violoncelle à la guitare et sa voix « angélique » de fausset ou de contre-ténor. Il est aveugle de l'œil droit depuis sa naissance à cause d'une rupture du nerf optique du cerveau. Il est ouvertement gay. Outre Sigur Rós, Jónsi se produit également avec son ex-partenaire...
