The Head and the Heart est un groupe de folk indie américain. Ils ont été formés à l'été 2009 par Josiah Johnson (voix, guitare, percussions) et Jonathan Russell (voix, guitare, percussions). Le groupe comprend également Charity Rose Thielen (violon, guitare, chant), Chris Zasche (basse), Kenny Hensley (piano) et Tyler Williams (batterie). Le groupe est signé chez Warner Bros. Records et a sorti quatre albums. Ils ont sorti leur quatrième album studio, Living Mirage, le 17 mai 2019.
