Synopsis

Frankenstein est un roman écrit par Mary Shelley. L'histoire se déroule en Europe au XVIIIe siècle et suit un jeune scientifique nommé Victor Frankenstein. Victor est obsédé par la création de la vie et décide de construire un être humain à partir de morceaux de cadavres. Après avoir réussi à donner vie à sa créature, Victor est horrifié par son apparence et la rejette.

La créature, se sentant abandonnée et rejetée par son créateur, se tourne vers la vengeance. Elle commence à semer la terreur et la destruction partout où elle passe, cherchant à se venger de Victor pour l'avoir créée et ensuite rejetée.

Frankenstein explore des thèmes tels que la responsabilité morale, la création, la solitude et la quête de sens dans un monde hostile. Le roman remet en question les limites de la science et de l'éthique, tout en mettant en lumière les conséquences désastreuses de jouer à Dieu.
