I This Patch of Sky erano un gruppo strumentale post rock dell'Oregon, formato nel 2010 a Eugene. La band tipicamente componeva brani strumentali cinematografici che combinano melodie dalle sfumature sottili e chitarre a parete per creare un paesaggio sinfonico. La band ha firmato un contratto con l'etichetta indipendente tedesca Oxide-Tones nel 2011 e ha pubblicato "The Immortal, The Invisible" e "Newly Risen, How Brightly You Shine". Nel 2013 Oxide-Tones si è estinto, con il risultato che la band ha pubblicato l'album "Heroes and Ghosts" ...
