Sinossi

Prologo: un autista tiene una gran sorpresa con su pasajero.

Segmento 1 ("Time Out"): un intolerante odia a judíos, negros y asiáticos. Un día vivirá en la Segunda Guerra Mundial, será perseguido por el KKK y atacado en la Guerra de Vietnam, sintiendo los efectos de su odio.

Segmento 2 ("Kick the Can"): En una residencia de ancianos, los habitantes mayores descubren que sus mentes pueden mantenerlos jóvenes.

Segmento 3 ("It's a Good Life"): una viajera golpea a un niño en bicicleta con su coche y se lleva al niño a casa. Pronto descubre que el poderoso niño la llevó a casa de hecho.

Segmento 4 ("Nightmare at 20,000 feet"): un escritor tiene miedo de volar y pronto ve una criatura monstruosa destruyendo los motores del avión durante una noche tormentosa.
