Sinossi
Nel cuore di Mpumalanga, nella piccola città di Fransbrug, si trova il Fransen Hotel. L'hotel, che una volta era il punto forte della piccola città, ora ha a malapena uno su cinque su Trip Advisor. Hotel (2016) è un mockumentary afrikaans su un direttore d'albergo di mezza età, Ferdie Kruger, e il suo staff di piccola città, che lotta per tenere aperte le porte dell'hotel. L'hotel viene rilevato dal gruppo alberghiero più grande, Lourier, e un giovane consulente, Thomas van As, viene inviato per migliorare gli standard del piccolo hotel, tuttavia le capacità di gestione di Freddie e Thomas differiscono e la serie segue la loro faida comica per lasciare il loro segno personale in albergo. La serie è scritta da Bennie Fourie (Vuil Wasgoed) e Stiaan Smith (Sy Klink Soos Lente).
