Sinossi
Una storia autentica del 1983: il giovane poliziotto Finn riceve una medaglia per il coraggio dimostrato nell'arresto di un pericoloso criminale. Nel frattempo il travestito David Martin viene rilasciato ancora una volta dal carcere: è provocante e aggressivo, è evaso due volte. Quando viene catturato di nuovo durante un furto con scasso, spara a uno degli agenti di polizia. Fino al 1983 è diventato il criminale più ricercato del Regno Unito. Dopo un inseguimento attraverso metà di Londra, un sospetto viene ucciso dall'agente di polizia Finn - un innocente, a quanto pare, quindi Finn viene sospeso. Il caso diventa uno scandalo della polizia, quando viene persino accusato di omicidio.
