Sinossi
Ispirato da eventi reali, SOLOS esplora le relazioni tra tre individui che stanno lottando per aprire i loro sentimenti l'uno verso l'altro. I registi Kan Lume e Loo Zihan hanno co-diretto questo pathos che drammatizza l'egoismo dell'amore e le sue tragiche conseguenze. Ambientato nella Singapore contemporanea, SOLOS segue gli sforzi di BOY, MAN e MOTHER. Avendo avuto una relazione con MAN (Lim Yu Beng) per anni, BOY (Loo Zihan) alla fine cresce e desidera lasciare la relazione. Al contrario, MAN vuole ancora stare con BOY e che si stabiliscano insieme. Nel frattempo, MADRE (Goh Guat Kian) è devastata dal fatto che suo figlio (BOY) l'abbia abbandonata e abbia avuto una relazione con MAN. Mentre i tre personaggi combattono i propri demoni, SOLOS giustappone scene di realtà e surreali per fornire indizi sui desideri interiori di ogni personaggio. Il film ha una conversazione minima per dare libertà al pubblico di interpretazione individuale del film.
