Sinossi
DIE PRO ("The Pro") racconta la storia di un giovane surfista, Tiaan Nothnagel, che deve fare i conti con la morte accidentale del suo migliore amico, Dirkie Lawrence, poco prima del loro ultimo anno di scuola. Dopo la morte di Dirkie, Tiaan giura di smetterla con il surf per sempre, poiché non sopporta che gli venga ricordato tutto ciò che lui e Dirkie hanno condiviso. Ma poi, la sorella gemella di Dirkie (che è andata a vivere con il padre dopo che i genitori si sono separati l'anno precedente) arriva in città con una missione tutta sua: essere selezionata per partecipare a Wave-Seekers, un immaginario World Surf Tour e qualcosa del genere che Tiaan e Dirkie sognavano di fare da soli. Ma per avere successo, ha bisogno dell'aiuto di Tiaan e, implicitamente, ha bisogno che lui torni sulla sua tavola da surf ... Alla fine lui si rialza e ottiene il primo posto per i cercatori di onde.
