Sinopse

Crono, um menino do ano 1000 d.C., está visitando a Praça Leene para um carnaval, fazendo amizade com uma garota chamada Marle, Crono também vem visitar seu amigo Lucca, que está trabalhando em uma unidade de teletransporte. Marle está desesperada para tentar e algo dá errado. Em vez de transportá-la de um pódio para outro, ela vai a algum lugar muito além do tempo de Crono. Crono se oferece para ajudar e retrocede no tempo. Ao fazer amizade com as pessoas, destruindo monstros horríveis, Crono agora descobre a verdade sobre o que vai acontecer.
