Sinopse
Por mais de 20 anos, Jimmy Testagross viveu seu sonho de infância: ser roadie de seus heróis de infância, Blue Oyster Cult. Mas os dias de glória do Arena-Rock da banda são uma memória distante. Feiras de condado e shows em clubes pagam as contas. E Jimmy se tornou uma vítima desses tempos difíceis. Sem nenhum lugar para ir, sem perspectivas de emprego e sem habilidades reais além de ser um roadie, Jimmy precisa se reagrupar. Então ele retorna para a casa de sua infância em Queens, Ny. Lá, ele revisita relacionamentos antigos: sua mãe viúva doente, uma paixão do colégio, um ex-inimigo e, o mais importante, seu relacionamento consigo mesmo. Jimmy, o filho varão de meia-idade, nunca cresceu. Ele ainda carrega os ressentimentos e frustrações de sua juventude, e permitiu que eles apodrecessem e definissem quem e o que ele é. Confrontado com a doença da mãe, Jimmy tem uma escolha: deixar para trás o passado e assumir a responsabilidade por si mesmo e pela mulher que o criou e agora precisa dele. Ou continue a viver uma vida de mentiras e frustração.
