The Frog Prince
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess who lived in a castle. One day, while playing with her golden ball near a pond, she accidentally dropped it into the water. A frog appeared and offered to retrieve the ball for her, but in exchange, he asked to be her friend and companion.
The princess was repulsed by the idea of befriending a frog, but she agreed to his terms. As soon as the frog returned the ball to her, she ran back to the castle, leaving him behind.
Later that night, while the princess was having dinner with her family, the frog appeared at the castle and demanded to be let in. The king allowed him entry, and the frog hopped over to the princess and reminded her of her promise.
Reluctantly, the princess agreed to let the frog stay with her. To her surprise, the frog transformed into a handsome prince, revealing that he had been under a curse that could only be broken by a princess's kindness.
The princess and the prince fell in love and lived happily ever after.
