The Frog, the Dog, and the Devil
Once upon a time, there was a frog who lived in a pond. He was friends with a dog who lived nearby. One day, the devil appeared and challenged them to a contest.
The devil said, "I will give each of you three tasks. If you can complete them, I will grant you a wish. But if you fail, I will take your souls."
The first task was to climb a tall tree. The dog tried but failed. The frog then hopped up the tree and completed the task.
For the second task, they had to swim across a river. The dog struggled, but the frog swam effortlessly to the other side.
Finally, the devil gave them the last task: to catch a rabbit. The dog chased after the rabbit but couldn't catch it. The frog then used his tongue to catch the rabbit and bring it back to the devil.
Impressed by the frog's skills, the devil granted him a wish. The frog wished for his friend, the dog, to be able to talk. From that day on, the dog and the frog were able to communicate and remained friends forever.
