Synopsis

37 year old Mike O'Donnell is extremely disappointed with his life because of some of the choices he made when he was 17. His wife threw him out of the house, his kids think that he's a loser and want nothing to do with him, and he lost his job.

One small action gave him another shot at his senior year in high school. For his kids, he goes from a loser of a dad to an amazing friend that gives them great advice. He also realizes the things that he didn't realize when he was actually 17.

Seeing senior year from a different point of view makes him realize that doing your life over isn't as fun as it seems.

The songs chosen for key moments in the movie seem out of place and disrupt the flow of the narrative rather than enhance it. The lack of cohesion in the soundtrack detracts from the overall viewing experience, leaving the audience feeling disconnected from the story and characters.

Carol Baker

The music in 17 Again also successfully conveys the uplifting and heartwarming moments in the film. The soundtrack features uplifting melodies and hopeful tunes that mirror the transformation of Mike from a troubled adult to a supportive and caring father figure. These tracks complement the scenes where he reconnects with his kids and learns important life lessons.

Joseph Rodriguez

Furthermore, the blend of classic hits and contemporary tunes in the soundtrack adds a layer of depth to the storytelling, creating a dynamic listening experience that complements the on-screen narrative beautifully.

Betty Robinson

The soundtrack of 17 Again fails to capture the emotional depth and complexity of the main character's journey. The music feels generic and uninspired, lacking in the power to evoke the audience's empathy and connection to Mike's struggles.
