Synopsis

30 Days of Night is a story set in the town of Barrow, Alaska, where the annual month-long polar night brings darkness and isolation. Everything seems normal at first, but soon strange things start happening.

As the town's sheriff, Eben Oleson, investigates, he uncovers the horrifying truth: the town has been targeted by a clan of hungry, bloodthirsty vampires. Most of the town's people are killed, forcing the survivors to go into hiding.

With no way to call for help, the town's residents must find a way to survive the month of darkness. It's a race against time as they try to outlast the vampires and make it through to the end of the polar night.
