Synopsis

With his alcoholic former wife, Cindy, always absent, the young single father, Ethan, is trying his best to bring up his three-year-old son, Nate, all by himself.

However, as the father and son embark on a bonding trip in the snow-covered wilderness of the Rocky Mountains, one wrong decision and a momentary lapse of judgment seal Nate's fate, resulting in his disappearance.

Now, tragedy and profound guilt divide the close-knit, working-class community of Angels Crest, as the fading boundaries between right and wrong throw the town into confusion.

Can the truth set one free? Can there be forgiveness for the terrible mistakes of the past?
