Synopsis

Acceleration tells the story of Vladik Zorich (Dolph Lundgren), a crime lord in Los Angeles involved in guns, gambling, drugs, and skin trafficking. He is betrayed by his trusted operative Rhona Zyocki (Natalie Burn), who he kidnaps her son in retaliation.

Rhona is forced to help Vladik eliminate his enemies and regain valuable goods and information in order to save her son's life. She must navigate the dangerous streets of Los Angeles and follow Vladik's strict rules to stay alive.

However, Vladik underestimates the power of a mother's love, and his plan begins to unravel as Rhona fights back against his control. The film explores themes of power, control, and the lengths a mother will go to protect her child.
