This is a propagandistic account of Saddam Hussein own life based on a thinly disguised autobiographical work of his early life, ghost written by Abdel Amir Mua'la. The film was a crucial part of the personal mythology Saddam constructed around his early life to build up the folklore that fuelled his strongman image.
