Shot in London during the 2000 world tour, Brutally Live shows Alice Cooper doing what he's been doing better than anyone for the past 25 years: turning a rock concert into an extravagant stage show. That he's old enough to be just about anyone in the (great?) audience's father is beside the point. Because Alice is still one of the few who knows that rock & roll should be fun, even if it means severed heads, gushing blood, and murdered babies. Even the legendary guillotine appears, from its heyday a quarter of a century ago. Alice also makes fun of Marilyn Manson, Ozzy Osbourne, and Kiss by calling them "my wayward children."
