Synopsis

Bad Hair is a horror-comedy film directed by Justin Simien. The story follows Anna Bludso, a young woman who is determined to succeed in the image-obsessed world of music television. However, her dreams are threatened when she gets a weave that has a mind of its own.

As Anna's hair begins to take control of her life, she must find a way to stop it before it consumes her completely. The film explores themes of identity, self-acceptance, and the pressures of conforming to societal beauty standards.
