Synopsis

Balto is a canine outcast who is half-wolf half-dog living in Nome, Alaska in 1925. He is teased by all the dogs in the town except for Jenna, a purebred Husky, Boris, a Russian goose, and Muk and Luk, two polar bears.

When a case of diphtheria breaks out and the dog team gets lost, Balto gets the chance to be a hero. He sets out on a crazy journey with his goose friend Boris and Muk and Luk the polar bears. Jenna decides to go looking for them and eventually finds them, helping them out before getting injured.

Balto tells Jenna to go back with Muk and Luk, and instructs Boris to help guide them. He then finds the sled team and helps guide them on another crazy journey. Balto successfully gets the medicine back to the children of Nome, becoming the town hero and being loved by all.
