Synopsis

Banklady is a German crime film based on the true story of Gisela Werler, a bank robber in the 1960s. The film follows Gisela as she becomes one of the most successful bank robbers in Germany, pulling off a series of heists with her partner Hermann. Despite their criminal activities, Gisela and Hermann become folk heroes in Germany, with the media dubbing Gisela the "Banklady".

As Gisela's robberies become more daring and high-profile, she catches the attention of the police, who are determined to catch her at any cost. Gisela and Hermann's criminal empire begins to crumble as the police close in on them, leading to a dramatic showdown that will change their lives forever.
