Synopsis

Bellifreschi is a story about two Italian actors, Tom and Jerry, who travel to America with the hope of participating in a film starring Sylvester Stallone. However, their plans take a dark turn when Stallone is murdered at his villa in Beverly Hills, and the two friends become the prime suspects.

Now hunted by the CIA and the FBI, Tom and Jerry must flee across the USA, disguising themselves as women to evade capture. They eventually find themselves working in a restaurant as showgirls, where Tom catches the eye of a Mafia boss who falls in love with him.

Tom and the Mafia boss escape to Mexico together to avoid the ongoing police hunt. Years later, the two friends reunite, only to discover that Tom has married the boss's ex-girlfriend, despite still dressing as a woman.
