Synopsis

Beverly Hills Cop II is a 1987 action comedy film directed by Tony Scott. The film is a sequel to the 1984 hit movie Beverly Hills Cop and stars Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley, a Detroit cop who travels to Beverly Hills to solve a crime.

In Beverly Hills Cop II, Axel Foley returns to Beverly Hills to help his friend, Captain Andrew Bogomil, who has been shot and left in a coma. Foley teams up with detectives Rosewood and Taggart to track down the criminals responsible for the shooting.

As they investigate, Foley and his team uncover a series of robberies being committed by a group of well-organized criminals. The group is led by Maxwell Dent, a wealthy art dealer who is using his gallery as a front for his criminal activities.

Beverly Hills Cop II is filled with action-packed scenes, witty humor, and memorable one-liners from Eddie Murphy. The film was a box office success and received positive reviews from critics, who praised Murphy's performance and the film's fast-paced plot.
