Synopsis

Bittersweet is an honest and heartfelt story of the journey of a woman into a long-lost love that played a poignant role in her life. The viewer will experience the roller coaster of emotions of the main character through the different seasons of her life. Nidhi, played by Nisha Prem, is like most women who is caught up in the normal day to day life. As their college reunion approaches, she finds herself wondering about an old friend who once held a very special place but now seemed like a stranger. She is unsure about reaching out and reconnecting with her old confidante. Her friends Maya, a straight shooter and Anu, a perpetual optimist, stand by her to navigate through her fears and concerns. Eventually Nidhi and Farhaan reconnect. In the end, (in a very well etched scene), Nidhi's life and time keeps pulling her forward, even as her memories and feelings may not be exactly ready for the same.
