Black Lagoon is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Rei Hiroe. It follows the adventures of a group of mercenaries known as the Lagoon Company, who operate out of the fictional city of Roanapur in Thailand.
The story begins with Rokuro Okajima, a Japanese salaryman who is kidnapped by the Lagoon Company and becomes their newest member. He adopts the codename "Rock" and quickly becomes embroiled in the dangerous world of crime and violence that the Lagoon Company operates in.
Black Lagoon explores themes of morality, loyalty, and the consequences of one's actions. The series is known for its intense action scenes, complex characters, and gritty portrayal of the criminal underworld.
As Rock navigates the treacherous waters of Roanapur, he must decide where his loyalties lie and what he is willing to do to survive in this unforgiving world.
