Synopsis

The citizens of the sleepy town of Fate, TX gather for the grand opening of Consumart, a shiny new one-stop shop. Eager shoppers joyfully stream into the store as the doors open at dusk. Why is the grand opening at sunset? Who cares, they have reduced prices on plasma screens and baby clothes! DVD! Mayonnaise! Coffins! coffins? And before they have time to really question this article, terror strikes and the store is in a bloodbath. A few weeks later, three oblivious and self-absorbed twenty-somethings, CARRIE, SAM, and BONE, embark on a road trip to Mr. Fire (a festival that shares only minor, non-contentious similarities, all purely coincidental in nature, to Burning Man) and accidentally wandering into Fate, unaware of the unfortunate transformation of its population...into vampires. Since the heroes are in their twenties, they do. Carrie, a shallow hothead, is dating Sam's wallet, uh, Sam, who is a whiny, witty, hypochondriac rich kid. Bone, a callous...
