Synopsis

Blow Dry is a story about the annual British Hairdressing Championship coming to Keighley, a town where Phil and son Brian run a barbershop. Phil's ex-wife Shelly and her lover Sandra run a beauty salon in the same town, but Phil and Shelly haven't spoken in ten years since she left.

Shelley has just received the devastating news that her cancer is terminal. Ray Roberts, the reigning champion known for his underhanded tactics, arrives in town and mocks Phil for leaving competitive styling for barbering. Roberts also brings his daughter, Christina, who has a history with Brian from their childhood.

As tensions rise, Brian decides to enter the competition with his mom and Sandra. The question remains: will Phil join in? Ray is determined to win at any cost, but will Christina go along with her father's ruthless tactics?
