Trapped between two conflicting worlds, the eternal realms of day and night, a grizzled man prepares for a long, challenging day on his powerful, 1942 Fitzgerald and Lee wooden boat. Aboard his 7-metre, 5.2 litre Little Indian, the experienced skipper braces himself up for the spine-tingling encounter with the unknown, summoning up the courage to accomplish a nearly impossible feat: transcend the polar opposites, and mingle with time and space. And, more and more, the sleek motorboat picks up speed, cutting through the aqueous surface of the serene lake like a sharp knife. But, how fast does one have to go to pierce the day and enter the night?
