Bodyguard is a British television series that follows the story of David Budd, a former soldier who now works as a Specialist Protection Officer for the Royalty and Specialist Protection Branch of London's Metropolitan Police Service.
David is assigned to protect the ambitious Home Secretary, Julia Montague, whose politics he disagrees with. As David struggles to balance his personal beliefs with his duty to protect Julia, he finds himself caught in a web of political intrigue and danger.
