Brawl in Cell Block 99 is a story about a former boxer named Bradley who loses his job as an auto mechanic and is facing troubles in his marriage. At a crossroads in his life, he decides to work as a drug courier for an old friend, which initially improves his situation.
However, things take a turn for the worse when Bradley gets caught in a gunfight between police officers and his own allies. After being badly injured, he is thrown into prison where his enemies force him to commit violent acts, turning the prison into a savage battleground.
