Synopsis

Cactus is a short film that tells the story of a young woman named Maria who lives in a small town in the desert. She spends her days taking care of her sick mother and dreaming of a better life. One day, she discovers a mysterious cactus in her backyard that seems to have magical powers. As Maria tends to the cactus, she starts to notice changes in her life. She becomes more confident and assertive, and her relationships with those around her improve. However, as the cactus grows bigger and more powerful, Maria begins to question the consequences of its magic. Will she be able to control the cactus, or will it control her?
