Synopsis

Caprica is a science fiction television series that serves as a prequel to the reimagined Battlestar Galactica series. The show is set on the planet Caprica, where two families, the Graystones and the Adamas, are brought together by tragedy and conflict.

The Graystones are a wealthy family involved in the development of artificial intelligence, while the Adamas are a crime family with ties to the Tauron mafia. When a terrorist attack kills their daughters, the two families become intertwined as they seek to cope with their loss and navigate the complex world of Caprican society.

Caprica explores themes of technology, morality, and the consequences of playing god. As the Graystones work to bring their daughter back to life using a digital copy of her consciousness, they inadvertently set off a chain of events that will shape the future of humanity.

With its intricate storytelling and complex characters, Caprica delves into the ethical dilemmas of creating artificial life and the blurred lines between man and machine.
