Synopsis

Cat People is a horror film directed by Paul Schrader. The story follows a young woman named Irena who believes she is descended from a race of people who turn into cats when sexually aroused.

As Irena struggles to control her feline instincts, she falls in love with a man named Oliver. However, their relationship is threatened by Irena's dark secret and the presence of her jealous brother, who is determined to keep her from being happy.

As the tension between Irena and Oliver grows, Irena must confront her true nature and decide whether she can overcome her animal instincts to be with the man she loves.
