Synopsis

Strella tells the story of Yorgos, a grizzled, reformed murderer who is released after spending 14 long years behind bars. In desperate need of a fresh start and a place to stay, Yorgos ends up in a cheap, squalid hotel in the heart of Athens, knowing that second chances are hard to come by.

However, everything changes when Yorgos has a chance encounter with lively Strella, a transsexual prostitute. This unexpected meeting paves the way for a new and unexpected relationship, giving Yorgos hope for the future after a long time.

But as Yorgos starts making plans for the future, the question arises: what happens if the secrets of the past come back with a vengeance?
