Synopsis

Charlotte Gray is a novel by Sebastian Faulks that tells the story of a young Scottish woman named Charlotte Gray who becomes involved in the French Resistance during World War II.

After her lover, an RAF pilot, goes missing in France, Charlotte volunteers to work with the Resistance in hopes of finding him. She takes on a new identity and risks her life to help the French resistance fighters.

As Charlotte navigates the dangers of war-torn France, she must confront her own fears and desires while trying to survive in a world filled with betrayal and uncertainty.
