Synopsis

In the mid 1990's, 20 French urban dancers join together for a three-day rehearsal in a closed-down boarding school located at the heart of a forest to share one last dance. They then make one last party around a large sangria bowl.

Quickly, the atmosphere becomes charged and a strange madness will seize them the whole night. If it seems obvious to them that they have been drugged, they neither know by who nor why. And it's soon impossible for them to resist to their neuroses and psychoses, numbed by the hypnotic and the increasing electric rhythm of the music.

While some feel in paradise, most of them plunge into hell.

The soundtrack of Climax is a character in itself, driving the narrative forward and intensifying the emotions of the dancers. The music becomes a crucial element in understanding the characters' inner turmoil and the escalating chaos that unfolds throughout the night.

Timothy Allen
7/10

The pulsating rhythms and hypnotic beats in the soundtrack immerse the audience in the characters' descent into chaos, making the viewing experience truly unforgettable.

Charles Allen

The eclectic mix of electronic music genres used in the soundtrack enhances the film's narrative, adding layers of tension and emotion to the scenes.

The Climax soundtrack perfectly captures the intensity and madness of the film's story, creating a haunting and mesmerizing atmosphere.

David King
2/10

The soundtrack of Climax felt overwhelming and repetitive to me. The constant electric rhythm became monotonous and failed to create any meaningful emotional connection with the characters' descent into madness.

Donald Evans
5/10

The use of repetitive and hypnotic music in Climax effectively conveys the characters' descent into madness. The relentless soundtrack creates a sense of urgency and disorientation that mirrors the characters' psychological turmoil.

Betty Perez
6/10

The soundtrack of Climax perfectly captures the chaotic and frenetic atmosphere of the film. The pulsating beats and electronic rhythms enhance the sense of unease and tension throughout the story.

Donald Miller
4/10

I found the music in Climax to be overly intense and jarring, which distracted from the overall storytelling. Instead of enhancing the suspense and tension of the film, the soundtrack often felt like a cacophony of noise that overshadowed the visual narrative.
