Synopsis

Cold Dog Soup is a quirky film starring Randy Quaid as a taxi driver who imparts Zen parables to his passenger while embarking on a high-speed tour of their city's ethnic communities.

The main focus of the story is on the passenger's desire to dispose of his date's dead dog, Jasper, and reunite with his attractive girlfriend who is described as a Pressure Cooker.

Despite his efforts, the protagonist's plans are constantly thwarted, leading to a series of comedic and bizarre encounters with various eccentric groups who take an interest in the dog's corpse.
