Synopsis

Connie and Carla is a 2004 American comedy film directed by Michael Lembeck. The film follows two women, Connie and Carla, who are aspiring singers and performers. After witnessing a murder, they go on the run and end up in Los Angeles, where they disguise themselves as drag queens and join a drag show.

As they become more involved in the drag community, Connie and Carla learn to embrace their true selves and find acceptance among their new friends. However, their past catches up with them, and they must confront the dangers they left behind.
