Synopsis

In the movie Contact, Dr. Ellie Arroway, a brilliant scientist played by Jodie Foster, discovers a mysterious signal coming from outer space. This signal contains instructions to build a machine that will allow humans to travel to another planet and make contact with extraterrestrial beings.

As Dr. Arroway and her team work to build the machine, they face skepticism and opposition from various groups, including religious organizations and government officials. Despite these challenges, Dr. Arroway is determined to make contact with the aliens and uncover the secrets of the universe.
