Synopsis

"Il capo dei capi" is an Italian television miniseries based on the life of Salvatore Riina, a notorious Sicilian mafia boss. The series follows Riina's rise to power within the Cosa Nostra organization, his ruthless tactics to eliminate his rivals, and his reign of terror over Sicily during the 1980s and 1990s.

As Riina consolidates his control over the mafia, he becomes known as "the boss of bosses" and orchestrates a series of high-profile assassinations, including those of anti-mafia judges Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino. The miniseries delves into the complex web of corruption, violence, and betrayal that characterized Riina's criminal empire.

Through a combination of intimidation, bribery, and violence, Riina cements his power and becomes one of the most feared and powerful crime bosses in Italian history. "Il capo dei capi" offers a chilling portrayal of Riina's brutal rise to power and the devastating impact of his criminal activities on Sicilian society.

The choice of musical themes in Corleone feels generic and uninspired, missing the opportunity to enhance the narrative and emotional impact of the miniseries. The soundtrack often feels disconnected from the intense and violent events depicted on screen, failing to create a truly immersive viewing experience.
