Courage Under Fire
In the movie Courage Under Fire, Lieutenant Colonel Nathaniel Serling is assigned to investigate the case of Captain Karen Walden, a helicopter pilot who died in combat. Serling is tasked with determining whether Walden should be posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for her actions in the line of duty.
As Serling delves deeper into the investigation, he uncovers conflicting accounts of what happened on the battlefield. He must navigate through the testimonies of soldiers who served with Walden, each with their own version of events. Serling is faced with the challenge of uncovering the truth amidst the chaos of war.
Throughout the film, Serling grapples with his own demons and guilt over a friendly fire incident that resulted in the death of one of his own men. As he seeks redemption for his past mistakes, Serling is forced to confront the harsh realities of war and the sacrifices made by those who serve.
Courage Under Fire is a gripping tale of honor, duty, and the courage it takes to face the truth, even when it is difficult to bear.
