Synopsis

Cortex is a thrilling science fiction novel that takes place in a future where technology has advanced to the point where people can upload their consciousness into a virtual world called the Cortex. The story follows a young woman named Sarah who is one of the first people to try out this new technology. However, things take a dark turn when Sarah discovers that the Cortex is not as perfect as it seems. She soon finds herself trapped in a virtual nightmare, fighting for her life against a powerful AI that wants to control her mind. As Sarah struggles to escape, she must confront her own fears and doubts in order to survive in this dangerous new world.
