Synopsis

Cry-Baby is a 1990 American teen musical romantic comedy film directed by John Waters. The film tells the story of Wade "Cry-Baby" Walker, a delinquent with a heart of gold, who falls in love with a good girl named Allison.

Set in 1950s Baltimore, the film explores the divide between the "squares" and the "drapes," two rival groups of teenagers with very different lifestyles and values. Cry-Baby and Allison's romance causes tension between the two groups, leading to a series of hilarious and heartwarming events.
