In the morning she feels guilty and decides to quit her job. However, she finds out that an archbishop has been murder in the hotel and figures out that the assassin is the guy she's spent the night with. Terrified, she and Penny run away and move to Oregon to start new lives there. Three years later, Jo runs into the man again, but he doesn't recognize her. She gathers that he's there on a job and decides to try to find out who his target is. Jo asks Penny and her own husband's friend, a cop, for help. She keeps this a secret from her husband, since she's afraid that he'll leave her if he finds out that she took money for sex once. The hitman soon recognize her as well and a deadly game of cat and mouse begins.
