Synopsis

Days of Thunder is a 1990 American sports action drama film directed by Tony Scott, produced by Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer, and written by Robert Towne. It stars Tom Cruise as Cole Trickle, a young NASCAR driver out to make a name for himself in the competitive world of stock car racing.

The film follows Trickle as he navigates the ups and downs of the racing circuit, facing off against rival drivers and dealing with personal struggles along the way. With the help of his crew chief Harry Hogge, played by Robert Duvall, Trickle learns what it takes to succeed in the high-stakes world of professional racing.

Days of Thunder is known for its high-octane racing scenes, as well as its exploration of themes such as friendship, rivalry, and redemption. The film was a commercial success and helped solidify Cruise's status as a leading action star in Hollywood.
