Synopsis

De Marathon is a Dutch comedy-drama film directed by Diederick Koopal. The story follows a group of friends who decide to train for the Rotterdam Marathon in order to help their friend Gerard, who is diagnosed with cancer.

As they struggle to balance their personal lives with their training, the group faces numerous challenges and setbacks. However, their determination and camaraderie help them push through and ultimately complete the marathon.

The film explores themes of friendship, perseverance, and the power of community in overcoming adversity. It is a heartwarming and inspiring story that showcases the strength of the human spirit.
